I Believe

My name is Abby Stevens. I am in my early twenties, a recent college-grad, an avid listener of the This American Life podcast, and I am a Mormon. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I love it because I know that God is our loving Heavenly Father and He is deeply involved in our lives. He sorrows when we are hurt, and he rejoices when we are happy. God sent His Son Jesus Christ to the earth so that we can obtain not only live with God again after we die, but also so that we obtain lasting joy and happiness in this life. I know God cares. I know that the commandments He has given us are to bring us peace of mind and joy. He is always there, and we can always commune with Him through prayer.
